Request and approve values

If the naming convention lacks a value you need, you do not change the convention yourself. You send a request and an Admin of the workspace decides. Accepted values are available at once. Editors and agencies with the area Campaigns can send requests, Admins decide.

Request a value

1. Open Naming convention under settings.
2. Choose Request value.
3. Under Field, choose the field, for example the source.
4. Enter the Value and the Label.
5. Under Reason, briefly say what you need the value for (up to 300 characters).
6. Send with Send request.

Until a decision is made, you see your request under Your open requests with the note "waiting for a decision".

Decide on a request (Admin)

1. Open Naming convention. Under Open requests you see every request with its reason and who sent it (Requested by).
2. For a medium, choose the Channel the value is assigned to.
3. Choose Accept. Or choose Reject and enter a Reason (3 to 300 characters) so the person knows what to change.

Example

Nordlicht Media needs the value nachrichtenportal for the source of a banner on a news portal. The agency requests it, reason: "Banner 300x250 Nachrichtenportal, starts in October". The Admin of Lindenholz Küchen accepts. From now on the agency can choose the value in the link builder.
