Your campaign data stays with you.
Feinwerk Campaigns stores conventions, links, documentation and daily totals, but no data about individual visitors. Here is what we promise and what it means.
These hold, no ifs and buts.
Hosting in Germany
The platform runs on servers at Hetzner in Germany, operated by Feinwerk.
No data about individual visitors
From your websites and from Matomo we take only daily totals. We place no cookies and no scripts on your websites. The app itself uses only session and security cookies.
A history of every change
Who changed which value, target or entry, and when? The change log answers it, even months later and also for changes made by agencies.
Roles and own logins
Every person signs in with their own account. There are no shared agency passwords, because only then can access be traced and withdrawn at once when someone leaves.
Two-factor and passkeys
Sign-in can be secured with a second factor and with passkeys. Both are optional and apply to your own account.
Your data is yours
Campaigns, links, documentation and the tracking inventory live in the company's workspace. If the company withdraws an agency's access, nothing is lost.
Every role sees exactly what it needs.
Access is granted per workspace and can be narrowed for agencies to individual websites and areas of work.
Four roles
- Owner: everything, including billing and deleting; can transfer ownership
- Admin: members, settings, access for agencies and connections
- Editor: campaigns, links, QR codes, documentation and tracking requests, including those of all agencies
- Viewer: read campaigns, links, tracking and results, for example for management
Access with scope and reach
- "Campaigns" scope: their own campaigns, links and results; the convention for reading
- "Tracking" scope: requests and inventory of the released websites, without budget, costs and results
- On request for individual websites only, and withdrawal takes effect at once
- Agencies do not see each other
The data belongs to the company, even when the agency pays.
If an agency pays for a workspace on behalf of a client, the workspace stays the client's property. The client can take it over at any time, with all campaigns, links and documentation.
Takeover at any time
A client can take over a workspace paid by the agency at any time. Nothing has to be rebuilt.
Withdraw access without loss
When an agency is replaced, its entries stay in the workspace, with the agency named as the author.
Printed QR codes never hit a dead end
Even if a workspace is cancelled, printed QR codes keep redirecting for 12 months and then show a notice page with the target address. The owner is told beforehand.
Dynamic QR codes and short links are not switched on yet. Coming soon
We too only get in with a reason and a time limit.
If a Feinwerk employee wants to open a workspace for support, they must state a reason. The access is limited in time and appears in the change log, which the owners of the workspace can read.
Contract and measures on request.
We provide the data processing agreement, the technical and organisational measures and the list of subprocessors on request. Tell us in the pilot request or in the demo appointment, and we will send them to you.
Privacy policy of this websiteWhat data protection officers ask.
Does Feinwerk Campaigns place cookies or scripts on our websites?
No. There is no script you have to install. The platform only fetches your landing pages from outside (page source, plus a real browser that intercepts tracking requests) to check them. Those requests create no visits in your statistics.
Which data from Matomo reaches the platform?
Daily totals such as visits, conversions and revenue per link. Data about individual visitors is neither fetched nor stored. The access token is stored encrypted.
Where is the data stored?
On servers at Hetzner in Germany.
Who can access the workspace on our side?
Only people you or your agencies invite, each with their own login and a role. Feinwerk staff open a workspace only with a stated reason and for a limited time, and it appears in the log.
Do we get a data processing agreement?
We provide the agreement, including the technical and organisational measures and the list of subprocessors, on request.
Start as a pilot.
We take on a small number of marketing teams and agencies and set up the first workspace together with you: convention, websites and, if you have it, Matomo.
