Find links by target URL
Before you delete or move a page, you want to know which links lead there. Links & QR has a search by target page for this. You see all links of the campaigns you may see. Agencies see only their own.
Step by step
- Open Links & QR.
- Under Target page, enter a path such as
/kuechen/alt/or an address, for examplehttps://www.lindenholz.example/kuechen/alt/. - Choose Search. Below it you see the number of links found and the list.
- If needed, narrow down by Campaign, Responsible or Status. The status can be Draft, Active or Ended.
- Reset filter starts over.
- With Export as CSV you take the hits with you.
The field Search also finds by code, placement, parameter or URL.
How the search works
A path starting with a slash finds every target that begins like this, on any domain. A full address finds every target that begins with it. If you enter only a domain, the search finds exactly that domain.
Example
Lindenholz Küchen takes the promotion page /kuechen/alt/ offline. The search shows three active links: two newsletter links and one banner "Banner 300x250 Nachrichtenportal". Nordlicht Media sees only the links of its own campaigns. The company informs the agencies and changes the targets.
You do not change the target of an active link afterwards. Create a new version with Create new version. For links with a short link Coming soon , the target can be changed without touching the parameters.
Printed codes cannot be redirected. Before you remove a page, check whether static codes pointing to it are still in use.
